Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh will unveil more than 150 original objects from the tomb with 60 pieces travelling out of Egypt for the first and last time. The legend of Tutankhamun captured imaginations globally when, in 1922 his tomb was unearthed by British explorer Howard Carter and financier Lord Carnarvon. Tutankhamun - Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh will celebrate the centenary of the discovery of the royal tomb by presenting the largest collection of treasures to ever leave Egypt. This highly anticipated exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea will have a limited run between Nov 2019 and May 2020.
